Owner
Daniel has been working at RJ’s since 2017 and took over ownership in 2023. He has kept building the shop's reputation ever since. He still gets hands-on in the shop, but a lot of his time goes into quoting jobs and making sure every project gets done right. When he's not at work, he's probably playing softball — or, more likely, still thinking about work.

Jeff has been part of the RJ's team since 2024, keeping customers happy and projects moving day to day. If you need a quote or even just someone to chat with, he’s always on the job. He's also the guy behind our beautiful epoxy tables. If you’re looking for Jeff on his day off, he’s probably on his porch talking about last night’s hockey game.

James has been our kitchen guy since before we were a real thing — from the first sketch of your layout to the last cabinet door installed, he's the one who makes sure it comes together. Yes, he will tell you we can’t do your custom upside-down spice rack, but if we could, he’d be the guy. When he’s not at the shop, you can probably spot him on his Harley or doing sound for a local band.

For everyone who asks, Rufus is the "R" in RJ's. He's spent over 40 years building and finishing furniture, and he's still the go-to for any finishing questions we have. When he's not spraying chairs, you can find him working on the farm or helping his other boys with their cedar business.

Noah has been part of the RJ’s team since he was old enough to hold a hammer and is now “the guy” when it comes to hardwood furniture, especially tables. When he’s not building tables, Noah is usually kayaking or fishing in Lake Huron.

Josiah has been building furniture with us since the beginning. While we get him to build pretty much everything, he mostly focuses on our bedroom sets. When Josiah isn’t building for us he’s usually working his other full-time job on the farm.

Aaron started out as our cabinet door builder and has grown into our main custom cabinet builder. With a background in Mennonite construction, he’s also one of the main guys when it comes to construction around the local Mennonite community. When he’s not building kitchens, Aaron is raising rabbits and fishing with his kids.

Yes, its confusing, but we have two “Noah’s” that build for us. This Noah primarily builds our cabinet doors and drawers and when he’s not swamped with that he pitches in helping his dad with the bedroom furniture. He doesn’t have a lot of spare time, but when he’s not building furniture, chasing cows, or cutting hay, Noah is sometimes spotted canoeing or swimming with other local youngsters.
